33rd Cart Tour of Alicante Province from June 28th to July 5th 2025 🐴
From June 28 to July 5, 2025, the 33rd Volta en Carro returns to the province of Alicante 🐎—a unique experience that blends history, nature, and old-fashioned community life 🌄. The Volta en Carro of the Province of Alicante is a deeply rooted summer tradition, organized by the Association of Carters of the Province.
This event has become one of the most beloved rural traditions in the Costa Blanca and the Valencian Community. For a full week, a caravan of decorated horse-drawn carriages, animals, and people travel from village to village, recreating the traditional lifestyle of the region’s former herders and farmers. 🌿👨🌾

A route between mountains and villages with soul 🐴
This edition’s route will travel through dreamlike landscapes, passing through towns such as Hondón de Nieves (Finca Uvas Cabrera) , Pinoso, Yecla, Caudete, Fuente la Higuera, Moixent, Fontanars dels Alforins and Cañada. 🏞️ Each stop is an opportunity to learn about local traditions, taste typical products and connect with the festive spirit of each town.
Participants don’t just ride in cars: they also camp under the stars 🌌, cook together, sing, laugh, and share experiences that will stay with them. It’s a return to the essential, to authenticity, and a total disconnect from modern stress ❤️
