What is Alicante Gastronómica? 🍷🥘

Alicante Gastronómica It’s much more than a culinary fair. It’s a gathering where tradition, innovation, and flavor come together to showcase the culinary riches of the province of Alicante – Costa Blanca and the rest of Spain.

This seventh edition confirms its position as the most experiential gastronomic fair in Spain. 👨‍🍳 Four intense days with more than 450 activities where the best of haute cuisine is open to the general public. More than 130 chefs with Michelin stars and Repsol suns will be present, framing a program that combines live showcookings, 👨‍🍳 masterclasses, renowned gastronomic competitions, a wide range of gastronomic exhibitions 🍴, exclusive tastings 🍷 and activities for the whole family 😍

In addition to the 18th Spanish Omelette Championship, there will also be competitions for rice, salted fish, tuna tartar, and the prestigious Paco Torreblanca International Award for Haute Pastry, the grand finale of which will be held at this event. The Km0 Zone brings together local products with designation of origin, ideal for discovering the richness of the sea, the gardens, and Alicante cuisine. In the Wine and Oil Tunnel, you can taste local oils and wines in guided tastings. 🍷

Bolivia will be the guest country, bringing its gastronomic wealth with showcookings, tastings, and local products such as royal quinoa and high-altitude wines 🍃. The fair is committed to solidarity and sustainability, with programs such as “Restaurants Against Hunger” and tributes to the volunteers responsible for social initiatives in episodes such as the DANA. 👨‍🍳
