On May 24 and 25, 2025, the spectacular Villajoyosa Rugby Stadium (Alicante – Costa Blanca) will become the epicenter of international rugby with the celebration of the 38º Costa Blanca Rugby Sevens. A top-level sporting event that will bring together men’s and women’s teams from around the world in an incomparable setting by the Mediterranean Sea. A total of 48 exciting Rugby Sevens matches will be played, overseen by 12 international referees from England, Wales, Ireland, Moldova, and Spain.

🌍 An international tournament steeped in history and passion
This tournament is not only the oldest in Spain in its category, but also one of the most prestigious in Europe. In its 38th edition, the Costa Blanca Rugby Sevens will host 16 teams: eight in the men’s category and eight in the women’s category, from countries such as China, Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Austria, and Spain, among others. In addition, popular invitational teams such as Euskarians, Alcatraz Sevens (Venezuela), and the Swiss team Switzers will participate.
🏟️ Villajoyosa: Rugby and Mediterranean
Villajoyosa, with its seaside charm and spectacular beaches, is the perfect place to enjoy the best rugby sevens. The tournament will be held at the Villajoyosa Rugby Stadium (Alicante, Costa Blanca), also known as Campo del Pantano, within the Municipal Sports Center. This venue offers modern facilities and a welcoming atmosphere for players and fans.

Each match consists of two 7-minute halves, with teams of 7 players facing off across the entire playing field.
