From 1 to 6 September 2025, the town of Benissa (Costa Blanca, Spain) will turn into a stage for cinema lovers with the very first edition of the “Benissa en Curt” Short Film Festival 🙌.
Over four days at the Benissa Cultural Centre, audiences can enjoy 45 short films, carefully selected from more than 800 international submissions. On Friday 5 September, the festival moves to La Fustera Beach for a special outdoor screening of the Honorary Award film. Finally, on Saturday 6 September, the event closes in style with the Awards Gala at Taller Ivars.

🌟 A Very Special Patroness for Benissa en Curt 2025
The festival will be honoured with the presence of actress Antonia San Juan, widely known for her charisma and outstanding career in film, theatre and television. She will be the patroness of the first edition and will also present her film “Del lado del verano” (“On the Side of Summer”) on Friday 5 September, in a unique open-air screening by the sea at La Fustera Beach 🌊🌙.
