🥘 What is a paella?
Paella is one of Spain’s most famous dishes… and for good reason! 😋 Paella is a delicious rice dish typical of Valencia, cooked with local ingredients. It’s tradition, culture, and above all… a pleasure for the senses! 🥰 It’s cooked in a special pan (which, interestingly, is also called a paella pan or paella pan 🤭), very wide and shallow.
🛎️ BOOKINGS: VIP: Exclusive Getaway: Sleep in a Wine Barrel in the mountains of Alicante 🍷✨
📜 A bit of history
Paella was born in the countryside of Valencia, specifically near the beautiful Albufera lake 🌾💦. Farmers prepared this simple dish with whatever they had on hand: rice + vegetables + meat. Over time, the recipe has become a symbol of Valencian culture and the good life 🧡

In Spain, paella is more than just a dish: it’s a time for gathering and celebration. It’s cooked with family or friends, outdoors, and eaten straight from the center of the pan. 🥘 It tastes even better that way! 😄
